MERU
 Mt.
Meru is the second largest mountain in Tanzania at 4566m.It
is a
beatiful volcanic cone and is used by climbers who want to prepare
for the Kilimanjaro climb.There is only one route up the Mt
Meru, the
Momela route.
Mt Meru is located inside the Arusha National Park
which has a great variety of wildlife.It has a large population
of buffallo and climbers have to be escorted by an armed ranger
on their way up and down the Mt Meru.See climbing itinerary below.

Pick up and transfer
to Hotel - Bed and Breakfast. |
| DAY 2: |
Depart Moshi for Arusha National
Park. Begin trek from Momella gate. Overnight at Miriakamba
Hut. |
| DAY 3: |
Trek to Saddle Hut to reach
the summit see the sun rising behind Mt. Kilimanjaro avoiding
the late morning mist. Descend to Miriakamba Hut for overninght. |
| DAY 4: |
After breakfast depart Miriakamba
Hut for Momella gate. Here you will be met and transferred to
Moshi. |
