The best time to climb Kilimanjaro is January to February and September. July to August can be colder and November to December can be wet. April/May not recommended January to March is the warmest months, almost clear of clouds each evening and morning. The success rates for 6 Days Kilimanjaro climbing via Marangu with our guides are outstanding compared to the overall success rates for all climbers who attempt to reach the top. Day to day activities

    DAY 1

    Pick up on arrival and transfer to booked hotel - bed and breakfast.

    DAY 2

    Proceed to the starting point of the climb Marangu Gate and then continue to the first mountain hut - Mandara Hut. Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.

    DAY 3

    After breakfast at Mandara, proceed to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

    DAY 4

    This is the acclamatization day at Horombo. After breakfast, trek to Mawenzi Turn Hut and then return to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

    DAY 5

    After breakfast, trek to Kibo Hut where you have light dinner.

    DAY 6

    In the early hours, about 2:00am start for the summit of the mountain. Arrive there by sunset.

    DAY 7

    After summit trek down to Horombo passing via Kibo Hut where you have a light lunch and drink.
