ZANZIBAR

Zanzibar is one of the Places which must be visited by any visitor who comes to Tanzania.

Visitors to Zanzibar are usually immediately captivated by the friendliness and warmth of the people.The exotic archtecture with its ornate balconies and beautifully carved teak doors captures ones imagination.At least three days are required to obtain the most from a visit to Zanzibar.

During the visit a tourist can explore the old stone town, visit ruins of former maginificent palaces,harems and baths.One can also take a spice tour, visit the Slave caves and Jozan Forest where the Red Colubas monkey resides.

Attached is a proposed itinerary for a visit to Zanzibar:

KTS 14: ZANZIBAR TOUR (4 DAYS)

Day 1:	Transfer by bus and boat from Moshi to Zanzibar and spend night in a reserved Hotel.
Day2:	This day you do stone town tour where you see the house of wonder,Dr Livingstones House, National Museum, Slave market etc. You also do a spice tour where you visit the places where the famous spices such as cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, caddammon etc are grown. Evening back to your Hotel
Day 3	Leave by boat for prison Island in the morning. Here you will enjoy snorkeling, sunbathing and playing with friendly giant tortoises. Back to your hotel in the evening.
Day 4	This day you leave your Hotel in the morning for the DOLPHIN tour. Here in south coast of Zanzibar you will take a boat and when you locate the Dolphins you swim with them. Take lunch in nearby restaurant. Then after lunch you proceed to Jozani Forest where you view the red colobus monkeys. Then drive back to you Hotel for overnight and dinner.
Day 5	Early departure for Dar es Salaam and onward to Moshi/Arusha.
